Every year on August 15, India celebrates its independence. We will commemorate India's 76th Independence Day in 2022.The government of India has arranged numerous social events to pay homage to freedom warriors and to commemorate India and Indians. The specific event is also known as AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV.
What makes this so special and celebration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav?
The Indian government has launched an endeavor to commemorate the country's 75th anniversary of independence as well as its people's rich history, culture, and accomplishments. It is a homage to everyone who has assisted India in realizing its potential and advancing the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of India 2.0. (self-reliant India). Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav officially began on March 12, 2021, and will last through August 15, 2023.
HAR GHAR TIRANGA
To celebrate India's independence's 75th anniversary and to encourage people to carry the country's flag home to fly, the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav has launched this campaign HAR GHAR TIRANGA. Such an effort improves people's commitment to nation-building and fosters a sense of community and brotherhood. Additionally, it raises people's knowledge of the national flag and their sense of patriotism.
Free entry to ASI Monuments
A component of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign is this effort. From August 5 through August 15, the government will provide free access to the general public at all monuments protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. It has been done so that people can visit and learn about India's extensive history. Additionally, it will increase people's knowledge of their forefathers and the splendour of India's past.
75 or 76 Independence Day?
On August 15, 2022, it will be Freedom Day 76, marking our 75th year of independence. First Independence Day was celebrated on August 15, 1947. We have now lived for 75 years, although it is the 76th Independence Day.
