Sidharth Shukla passed away today, a Cooper Hospital official confirmed. He suffered a massive heart attack in the morning. The actor was 40 years old and is survived by his mother and two sisters. Sidharth was born to Ashok Shukla and Rita Shukla on 12th December 1980 in Mumbai.

Sidharth started his career as a model and made his acting debut with daily soap, ‘Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na’. However, the actor became a household name with his role “ Shivraj Shekhar” in “Balika Vadhu”. He has also taken part in several reality shows, including Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, Big Boss, "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, & Dance Deewane 3. Sidharth was all set for his online debut in a web series called Broken but Beautiful 3.

The showbiz actor’s untimely demise has shaken the entire entertainment industry, and it is all on social media. As soon as the news broke, celebrities, including Riteish Deshmukh, Manoj Bajpayee, Harbhajan Singh have reacted on Twitter and sent condolences to the family.
